New year, new work, and a new show!

January 23, 2019

2019 has kicked off with an exciting start. It's been a long time coming, but I am finally able to take two days out of my work week to devote to my art studio practice. HURRAY! In his tongue in cheek article How to be an artist, Jerry Saltz says, “The best definition of success is time — the time to do your work.” Well, I’ve made the time and I couldn’t be more thrilled to spend it developing my work.

Which leads me to some exciting news…

Update 1: I have a solo show in March!

SAVE THE DATE: The "Let Them Illuminate the Lands" opening reception is Friday, March 15 in Costa Mesa, CA.

More details to come!!!

Update 2: I'm painting new work in the studio space of my DREAMS.

My sweet friend and neighbor, Linda, offered to let me use the studio above her garage for painting! It is a beautiful, light-filled room that has all the vibes an artist could ever hope for - complete with art books lining the walls. I call her my art angel and I am eternally grateful (love you, Linda!!). You can see my new work in progress on Instagram…

Update 3: I am officially BACK on Instagram.

You can now find me now at @mollypaulickart! My hope is that this account will take you through every stage of my paintings - from inspiration to the finished piece...and ultimately a final show. Most recently, I posted about how I got prints made of my work!

As always, thanks for reading and for your continued encouragement. I’m excited about all the fun ahead!
